Hello everyone,
The Artists’ Guild has some exciting news to share with you!
The Artists’ Guild is now looking for artists among its members to help plan, create and organize an exhibition to be held in Hämeenlinna from April 19 to May 13, 2027. The exhibition will be held at Galleria RaamiDaamit. The exhibition is free of charge for members! We will use a grant awarded to the Artists’ Guild by the Bovallius Foundation to cover the venue rental. If necessary, we can apply for a grant together to fund the creation of artworks. This is a great opportunity, especially for those who have no prior experience; first-timers will be able to participate in organizing the exhibition with the help of more experienced members.
So how does the exhibition process actually proceed? In summary:
- By signing up, you automatically join the exhibition working group
- Coming up with an exhibition theme together
- Creating artworks based on the theme
- Meeting regularly to share updates on the process, while also supporting each other in our artistic work
- The most suitable pieces from the completed works will be curated for inclusion in the exhibition
- Setting up the exhibition
Registration is not yet 100% binding. Those who sign up will have the opportunity to learn about the exhibition project during the first Zoom meeting related to the exhibition in early fall. After the first meeting, you will have the opportunity to decide whether you want to commit to the exhibition or withdraw.
Sign up for the Artists’ Guild’s first exhibition working group using this form by August 9!
